About

My name is Heather, and I’ve been an avid gamer for my entire life, a knitter for 23 years, and I took up crochet about 6 years ago. I don’t knit as much anymore, but still do on occasion. My grandmother taught me to knit, and I’m a self-taught crocheter. Gaming I learned from my brother, who would get through the scary parts of Midnight Math Busters for me (trust me, it was a scary game).

I began designing my own patterns because I wanted to make things that fit in with my interests. You’ll find a lot of Final Fantasy stuff here, as well as things from other games.

I don’t always do things using what might be considered the “proper” methods, but I’ll do my best to note that. I also combine knitting and crochet all willy nilly. Apologies.

Patterns here are free to use and modify as you would like. Please don’t repost, sell, or claim them as your own. If you modify one of my patterns, please credit me as the original creator (Heather of hooksngames.com) and provide a link back. Most of all, have fun! I would love to see anything you make using these patterns!

I am gamer myself :D and love your creations. It is not easy to make a doll from scratch and you did great job making yours. You should consider making patterns for some and let us try making them as well! :) Hope I’l see some more of your great creations in the future. Keep up with good work.
